I love roller coasters and this is a great one- there aren't many wooden ones left. And it's location (right at the beach) is unbeatable.
I always take friends here when they're visiting and the coaster lovers love it.
(It's too scary if you don't love roller coasters because it makes a rattle sound that new coasters don't)
A great classic coaster!

A lot of old school coaster charm. From it's disorienting dark tunnel approach to it's extra loud clacking lift, you really get that vintage feel. The ride may seem a bit tame by todays standards, but sports one of the hairiest firsts turns to be found on any wooden coaster. When ever I'm in San Diego, I try to swing by Mission Beach to get my coaster fix. You can literally park right next to the coaster, (free parking) go for a ride, and be back on the road to check out other sites. No admission fees or hassles. Great fun.
Best roller coaster ever

This is my favorite roller coast of all times. It's wooden and the turns are the best part. I dont think there are any other wooden rollercoaster that has the non stop fun as this. It's a little pricy at 5 bucks a ride but I always ended up riding it several times.
